Make Your Own Taco Seasoning

I wish you could smell this right now... This is my recipe for taco seasoning.  Using fresh spices, not ones that have been sitting in your pantry for years,  makes the best mix.  This is not only cheaper than buying the packets at the store, ( which I would always think I had on hand and start making my tacos, only to find, WHOOPS!  I used the last one the last time I made tacos. I hate that.)  But this mix has no preservatives or weird ingredients that we're not quite what the heck they are.  I mix mine up and keep it in an airtight jar in the pantry.  I usually double or triple mine so I have lots on hand.  I use about 2 tablespoons give or take for 1 lb of ground beef, turkey, or chicken.  Adjust the amount to fit your taste buds.

INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon and 1-1/2 teaspoons chili
powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
3/4 teaspoon paprika
2-1/4 teaspoons ground cumin
1-1/2 teaspoons sea salt
1-1/2 teaspoons black pepper
