Sometimes I really enjoy doing a craft that can be done quickly, cheaply, and easily! This is a great craft that takes very little time to set up, and then you can walk away from it for the rest of the day. I found this on a little site called Pinterest. I have a slight addiction to this website, so I thought I would start sharing some of the things that I try out from this site.
Tools:
Allene’s Fabric stiffener
Doily
Plastic wrap
Bowl
Plastic bag
Choose a bowl that will act as the mold to your doily, you could use any size doily, just make sure your bowl size co-insides. Cover your bowl with plastic wrap. Place your doily in the plastic bag and cover it with fabric stiffener. Wring out the doily and make sure to pop any little glue bubbles. Lay it over the bowl and let it dry according to the directions.
Mine was dry the next morning. Slide it off of the mold and your done! Its as simple as that!
I plan on filling mine with prints of hipstamatic and instagram photos for people to pick up and look at.
